A new luxury home community in Scottsdale, AZ is bringing a home automation system to every luxury home.
The developers, Cullum Homes, are working with Cyber Sound to install an “Apple to Apple” product.
Every homeowner of the Village at Paradise Reserve will have this Apple-based home automation system from Savant. How many home builders do you know that offer that?
How the Apple Smart Home works?
The Savant system operates thru connections of in-wall and wireless technology, with iPad, iPod and iPhone devices interfacing with a Mac operating system.
- Security, lighting,
- climate control,
- motorized window shades,
- home theater,
- audio,
- Internet activity,
and other features are things that this home automation system can control.
Because the hardware and software from the Savant home automation system are from the same source, it makes turning your home into a smart home much more affordable. The time of setting up and programming the system is almost cut in half. And by using the Apple products like iPads and iPhones instead of customized wall panels and operating units, you can save up to as as much as $3,800.
“Not only is it substantially less expensive overall, but it is miles ahead of the competition in terms of functionality and user-friendliness,” said Jon Summer, president of CyberSound. “Besides, who doesn’t love playing with an iPad?”
Every home in Village at Paradise Reservewill include
- one in-wall iPad in the kitchen,
- one in-wall iPod Touch in the master bedroom,
- and a concealed seven-foot hardware rack containing a Mac OS X operating system and audio/stereo components.
